Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to the Final Term!

I can’t believe that we are in the final few weeks of the school year. Where have the weeks gone?

We’ve been really busy with visits from both Ofsted and Salford Diocese Inspectors to look at our school.

Healthy Schools week was brilliant and we have had some fantastic performances from our teams

  • Year 2 won the Catholic Schools football tournament at St Christophers
  • Year 5/6 boys also won the Catholic cup – A double!
  • Good luck to our cricketers in their competition.

Its nearly time for our annual residential – Rock and River!

Year 6 are busy rehearsing for the end of School Show – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and everybody is enjoying the endless summer days and enjoying our fantastic school grounds.

The Eco Council won our Green Flag ans the external assessor  was really impressed with our efforts and team’s work.

Our core values remain – care, trust, learn together, faith, belief and are our committments to each other everyday – our promise and our gold standard.

I am, as ever, delighted to be the Headteacher of St Stephen’s – if there is anything we can do or any suggestions for our website or school, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
